Nerf Battle: Freeze Tag/Protect the Prez

Nerf Battle: Freeze Tag/Protect the Prez In-Person

For middle & high schoolers: It's an after-hours Nerf battle for control of the library! Bring your Nerf blaster (we'll supply the ammo) and get ready to battle it out. Parents will be asked to sign a minor participation waiver at the door or sign and send the attached form with their child. Parents are welcome to wait in the meeting room neutral zone during the battle.

How to Play: Freeze Tag
Standard team combat. This is exactly like regular freeze tag, but with Nerf blasters. If you are tagged, stop all movement (no reloading, relocating, etc.) and raise your hand until a team member unfreezes you by tapping your hand or shoulder. A team wins when everyone on the other team is frozen. The team with the best of 3 rounds wins the night.

How to Play: Protect the President
A player from one team is named the president and can only carry a single shot blaster. Their team acts as guards as they escort the president from the study room to the children’s room. The opposing team must tag the president to win, but guards can take tags for the president. Any player tagged is out for the remainder of the round. If the president is alive after five minutes, or if they reach the children’s room, the president's team wins. If the president is tagged or does not reach the children’s room after five minutes, the opposing team wins. Teams switch. The team with the best of 3 rounds wins the night.
